College Education Goals?
“I want to study Business because I believe it is an extremely good degree for someone to have. I also wish to study Business because I want to open up my own Veterinary Clinic, and having the skills learnt whilst doing Business will be very important”
College and Softball Goals?
“Due to having an extremely busy schedule, I have learnt to manage my school/studying time and my training time. I believe it has allowed me to gain the ability to focus on multiple important tasks. This will allow me to be an extremely good contributor to any team but also focus on my studies when required. I will always do the extra training it takes to perform at my best with the goal of winning a National Championship or any game, but I also believe that the most important thing in softball is playing as a team and supporting my team mates. I do not believe there can be a number 1 on any team, everyone has an extremely important role to play and I want to play mine to the best of my ability”
Why compete in College Softball?
“I want to compete in College because I believe it will be an amazing experience for me as a person and as a softball player. I have always loved being a part of any team and I believe that becoming part of a College team will help me improve my teamwork skills and also improve my softball skills. I also believe that going to another country to live is an experience that is really beneficial for any person”
What makes you Different?
“I believe that I am different as a player because I did not always want to become a pitcher but I have worked really hard with coaches to improve my pitching skills and my different types of pitches. I am also different in the sense that I focus much more on the spin of my pitching and the spotting of my pitches than the overall speed of the pitches. I believe that any good batter especially at College level can get onto speed, therefore spins are an extremely important part of being a pitcher to achieve the best team outcome, because a spin pitcher can follow a speed pitcher. I also believe that I am different because I do want to focus on my studies as well as playing softball”
Life Goals?
“Play softball at a top level, become an emergency veterinarian and open my own emergency vet clinic”
