Introduction Statement:
“I began softball later than most of my teammates at age 11 looking for a sport to keep myself active during the summer, not thinking that softball would become my passion. The opportunity to combine my academic studies and softball would be indescribable. I found my true passion within pitching and haven’t stopped working since. I believe that I have the potential to be a great asset to any college program both on and off the field. I am very dedicated and hard-working, always striving to be the best teammate that I can. I am fully committed to becoming the best college athlete possible and push myself every day to compete”

College Goals:
“Over my softball career thus far nothing has come easy to me. I have had to work hard through extra hitting and pitching training on top of my club training to develop my skills. These extra trainings have allowed me to peruse my dreams and play at a competitive level. This demanding schedule of balancing school, game days, trainings, and part time work has given me the skills that I will need to adapt successfully to the college system both on and off the diamond. While at college I want to compete at the highest level as a pitcher. Softball pitching is one of my biggest passions and I love challenging every batter that I face. I love being in high pressure situations where all the hard work pays off. I know that I have the potential to become a top pitcher with my raw talent and size. College softball is competitive, and I would utilize the opportunity to compete with the best. Off the field, I would work to push myself physically and mentally while striving to achieve the ultimate college goal of winning a championship. Being a part of a college team and building lifelong relationships from around the world would only motivate me further”

Life Goals:
“Life is a complicated thing and as much as you try to plan, it comes down to moments. So, my ultimate life goal is to not have regrets and not pass up opportunities no matter how scary or how hard you need to work to achieve, I want to be able to look back and say that I took the opportunities when they were presented. Part of that is to pursue the opportunity of a softball scholarship to combine my passion for softball whilst also getting a great education that will take me to start of my next journey. I hope from a sporting perspective that this will include having the opportunity to continue to travel and play softball overseas and ultimately represent my country whilst also succeeding at my preferred chosen profession as a Physiotherapist”

Why College Softball in the USA?
“I have been fortunate enough to spend time with some former college softball athletes as either housemates, players or coaches who ignited the idea of pursing a college career. College softball is known as one of the most competitive competitions in the world and I want to be my best by playing with and against the best. Due to the systems in place, quality of the coaching and the level of players I believe college can help me take my game to the next level”

What Makes You Different?
“As previously mentioned, I started my softball career later than most of my teammates and have therefore had the mindset that I need to work and train twice as hard to develop my skills and knowledge of the game. I am not afraid of hard work and to this end have always sort out people who could assist with all aspects of my game in particular pitching. This along with spending time with various import players I have also worked on my mental resistance both on and off the diamond. This has taken my pitching to a new level as I would now consider myself a flexible perfectionist meaning I work hard to be able to throw the perfect pitch, but I am able to understand the day and the situation and make the necessary adjustments and thrive on those pressure situations. Ultimately pitching is my passion and I want to challenge myself on the best diamonds, against the best batters in the best competition”
