Introduction Statement:
“I desire to attend College in the US because it will provide me with an opportunity to further my Academic Achievement alongside my enduring love of Soccer. My passion for this sport began when I was 9 years old when I took part in my first training session. Since then, I have always had fun whilst playing but have also understood the dedication and seriousness needed to be taken to reach my aspirations in this sport. Due to the College environment’s high level of competition and focus required both Academically and Athletically, it will allow me to help reach my full potential. My goal is to use my Academic Abilities and Athletic Talent to pursue a University Degree and gain experience in my Soccer career. I have the skills and desire to put in the necessary effort in both areas to make a difference for the College and team that I am a part of”.

Education Goals?

“I have a large interest in Studying the Sciences where I feel I could pursue a Career in the Medical field. I have grown a passion for this area as I enjoy Science Subjects and I have done some work experience at a Dental practice. I would like to explore various courses available before selecting an area of specialization”

College Goals?

“As a Student participating in Soccer with trainings and games, in addition to a busy School schedule, I have achieved good grades and I have been successful in my Sport. This busy schedule has allowed me to learn and develop many skills like organization, communication, time management and the ability to handle pressure, which I hope will allow me to succeed and thrive in a College environment as a College Student Athlete. I will always strive to be the best player and student possible to develop my knowledge in my chosen course but also my skills as a player through developing my experience and ability. My main goal academically is to achieve the best grades possible so I can pursue the career that I desire after College. My Athletic goal whilst at College is to refine my skills as well as learn to play various team strategies and develop as an Athlete”

Why do you want to compete at College in the USA?

“I wish to play Soccer at College due to the unique experience and skills that I will develop from playing at a consistently high level. I wish to be able to have the opportunity to compete at a high-level whilst also gaining a great education. Playing College Soccer will help me develop my skills and experience so that I am able to pursue a professional Soccer Career”

What makes you different?

“What makes me different to others is that I am a very thoughtful, considerate and caring person, which makes me a great team player. I am able to lead others to play as a team and not as individuals. In Soccer I play the position of Striker and I seem to have an ability of being in the right place at the right time, but I also know how important it is to have my teammates play me the right ball. So, for me team play is very important and when I score a Goal, I give credit to the whole team”

Life Goals?

“In life my Goal is to be happy. To be happy I need to always follow what I enjoy. Playing Soccer has been a consistent passion of mine that I have constantly felt joy from playing and that has brought me many happy memories, some of which have so far been highlights of my life. This is an area of my life which I wish to continue to grow and develop. When I began playing soccer I did it for fun and I never imagined getting to where I am or applying for a College in a foreign country, but as I began to play more and more games, I realized my dream to represent my country on the world stage and play at the best clubs. I want to be able to travel the world and see the most beautiful cities through playing the Sport I love. However, I don’t just want to be an Athlete, I also want to achieve and thrive Academically, and studying in a Science course will allow me to study an area that I enjoy allowing me to be passionate in the career I chose allowing the rest of my life after soccer to also be filled with joy and happiness”
