Academic Goals
“I am currently obtaining a Certificate 2 in Sampling and Measuring which will continue in Year 12 as well as a Certificate 4 in Forensics in Year 12. This will give me the pathway to chose certain subjects in university. I am currently still uncertain with what to study in College, but if I was accepted for a scholarship, I would be open to many ideas. I have always made the best out of the education provided to me as I know it will help further my career”
College Goals:
“At the age of 13, I started playing Softball and instantly fell in love with the game. From where I was then to where I am now I learned so much and continue to do so. I have changed physically and mentally as a person which has led me here today. My goal isn’t to be the best player on the team, it is to become the best version of myself proving that I deserve to be where I am today through hard work and commitment. College Softball is an opportunity of a lifetime and that’s where I want to be after I graduate high school”
Life Goals:
“My ambition is to play College Softball that requires me to push myself and to work to the best of my ability. I strive to hopefully one day represent my country Australia for the Olympic Title. I would also like to travel and meet new and interesting people”
Why College in the USA?
“Playing on a College Roster while studying my Degree, for me is a huge game changer in my Softball career. I will learn new techniques and styles of the game and to have the chance to meet new friends along the way. I want to experience what life is like for a Softball Player beyond the walls of Western Australia and test myself to see how far I can go”
What Makes You Different?
“What makes me different is that I can be pushed down and miss out on opportunities that my other teammate’s get to experience and use this as fuel to make myself a stronger player physically and mentally. It makes me go harder at every practice and every game. When opportunities come my way, I grasp it with dignity and passion. I have the mentality to improve where I can and the heart to enjoy the game that I love. I have had a time in my softball life where I struggled mentally, and I wasn’t enjoying the game because I was being pushed aside and I didn’t feel a part of my team. I overcame this by saying to myself that I can do it and spoke to my coaches and asked them what I needed to work on so that I could become a better version of myself. This setback taught me to speak up for myself and to never let someone’s opinion change the way I play the game. I am a team player and a great team mate to have play alongside”
